Emma, one thing you may want to be wary of in general is that many (if not most) of the companies that work with individual models will expect not only half the earnings, but will also expect total ownership of the site and the domain.
That is to say that even should you decide to retire, they would still own, control, and have full rights to that site and all of its assets/content.
I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing. It just depends on what you want.
Simply put, Emma Butt isn't just your name. It's a *brand name* as well.
Whether or not to give someone (or some company) a certain amount of control over *your brand name* is a big decision.
For what it's worth, we don't offer any services of this variety, so I'm not selling anything here. I just think it's an important point to bring up that's often times overlooked by producers and models alike.

It is a lot tougher however I am finding things improving for me personally all the time but that might of been because I have nothing to do with the site I shoot for other than its my content and when I was running the show all by myself I didn't have a fucking clue what I was doing so I couldn't really get any worse.
Hopefully the market will pick up, I'm not saying I think it will I just hope it will. Or has the tube/ torrent site plus recession totally killed the industry off??????
Only time will tell, I would still like to be there if it ever does.
But I would not like to start out again now, brand new with no work history and put thousands in to content to not make it back, no way.
If I was not already established and a few people aware of my stuff I wouldn't bother so I am with you on that.
Even you Puretotty who's got alot of experience in this game and your still shooting? Still run sites? at a loss maybe and you may not be shooting on a level you once where. But your still here.
But porn is not a quick get rich scheme and nither is having a site, it never was and thats without all the problems now, so anyone who thinks they can get a site online and will make money by telling a few forums is going to be for a big disappointment.
I agree on that.

Hey Paul... very wise words.
Of course there is still money to be made in this industry, I am indeed still here because of that, well that and the love of getting my little winky sucked...
I dont doubt Emma could make a decent income from a site, with her look, her unique sellings points (her tits) and of course the levels she does...
The girls just have to realise it's a lot of hard work... not just shooting the content, but all the interaction that's needed beyond that... Yes a good webmaster can help market the site, but the best marketing is done by the girls themselves...
Also have to say "Scotts" post above is also very true... a company doing this for a model will want total control over the domain name for a start... reason being they could put a whole bunch of time and effort in getting the site making good money for the model to then walk away... sorry girls but some have a reputation of flaking !
That leaves the company left holding the can... so that would definetly be part and parcel of any deal... anyone who's willing to agree without that, in fairness isnt very clued up and probably wont do a good job.
