holly i got your text and have you in mind for some shoots.

This is probably the last chance Im going to give the industry a go, recent problems I have encountered are:

1. Models no showing
2. Models suddenly vanishing
3. Models who have been excellant when I've shot them letting people down when I have recommended them
4. Models showing up hungover and even drunk
5. Female models showing up 2 dress sizes different to their pic and/or completely different hair
6. Agreeing fees with models then when they show up on the day they think the fee is negotiable!
7. First timers contacting me expecting ?600 plus for a 1 hour shoot 'and i don't want cum on my face'

anyone else having similar issues?

Yes, had no 7 only yesterday.

A girl in her 30's totally new to the industry with a list of "donts" as long as your arm sent me an email saying "if you wont pay me at least 1,200 (for a two hour shoot) you can forget it".

None of us are perfect, I've had to postpone two shoots myself recently due to factors beyond my control but I gave as much notice as I could, at least a week in each case.
Shame the two (different) models I had booked on a couple of other shoots didnt have the same courtesy and save me spending the 200 quid I lost as a result of them simply not showing up.
With advance notice it would have cost me nothing.

Or maybe thats divine retribution for my own sins?

Also I know it sorta comes with the territory of asking new girls if they're interested in shooting but I am nothing but polite and courteous and dont really deserve the many replies i get like

Have you thought about getting girls to scout for you? I had success this way

you have to think logically about the big picture of your situation. you are shooting people who are not in the business (first-timers).

95 percent of those girls/guys are doing a scene because they desperately need the money. And because this is the easiest avenue for them to make some quick money. This is an industry without any education requirements, skill levels, etc. All you need a hot body and the ability to lay there and moan (generally speaking of course).

In that group of first timers you are going to have drug addicts, drunks, mentally challenged people, but the largest group you are going to encounter is sloth (laziness).

Once you parse all of those people out of the business, what are left with are generally the more professional performers who want to make this a business and make (and hopefully save) some money.

Shooting first timers is a thankless job and about as much fun as a trip to the dentist (only more expensive).

In America it's not nearly as bad because the talent agencies parse out many of the malcontents for the producer/directors. Although not all the time sadly.

i am much more laid back now about new girls I started off that way in 2003 and dont want to stop and when I find a good new girl I find a good one, however I do shoot a few more well published models now too as its just easier and less hassle ( well most of the time) The site I shoot content for is happy for me to shoot new girls when I find them, which is still a fair few, but no pressure if I dont find one in a while, so at least they are happy with that. But yeah the amount of girls I get who are interested and the ones I actually get infront of the camera is very very small.

If you are wanting to quit because of this, then you will quit as it is never going to change, new girls are good and popular as in the content but you can't rely on them. Which is why I always have a back up plan and shoot a more experienced girl but not too over exposed, then out of the blue every now and again I will shoot a big name.

As Christian has said above, because they are not in the industry, you meet people from all walks of life who aren't really suited for this because of their individual situations

I have found most main stream models don't do bukkake & gang bang as they once did & this is a growing trend, if we want really naughty ladies we use Adult Work or swinging sites where the girls actually enjoy doing this & are not just motivated to this because of the money.
As Paul says this is the norm now & it won't get any better so just make the most of what we have.
