It,s a extrodinary piece of engineering, and as finer example of British craftsmanship as Iv,e ever seen, the technical detail,s as sharp as a razor, the sheer mastery of complex design, leaves one speechless,I could go on but I think I,ll probably wee, and not in the lavatory.....

oh yeah! how come the posts rearrange as to last post now and not initial post like in the good old days (last week) so much more difficult to keep tabs on things, or is it just me?

in the past, good threads died a premature death as soon as they dropped off the first page (viewed in collapsed thread mode). hopefully, the float-to-the-top setting will allow these things to take a more natural course.

of course, a potential downside could be a proliferation of threads bearing the inimitable hallmark of mr. steve56 bobbing to the surface like a flotilla of vengeful jellyfish. on the other hand, we've found that models often make their first postings to the forum after searching for any reference to themselves. consequently, they end up answering posts made weeks or even months previously - leaving forumites none the wiser. now, their presence will be revealed to all the world (cue total dearth of such postings)!

without the o/t forum as a safety net, we probably wouldn't have risked disturbing the established pattern of things but with any luck it'll all balance out on the positive side. you'll get used to it, i'm sure.
