And he is back!!

A few of you that were around 2 or 3 years ago would remember I had a problem with a photographer who used pictures from my photoshoot with him to set up fake pages using the name Dirty Donna on places such as Adultwork offering no strings sex.
Well after a few years where no profiles appeared, it seems he is back using the pictures he took of me & using the "Donna"/"DirtyDonna" name.

The original shoot I did with him was under the premise that he was setting up sex chatlines & escorting sites & needed some faked pictures/profiles for the lines & site (only to nude & a small amount of continental), once the site got off the ground he would remove the pictures on the site, but chatlines would still have mine & other models pics. I of course gave ID copies & signed the release forms.

This all went ahead, but after a year or so photographers, fans & a few people on here emailed me saying my pics were going up all over the place offering no strings sex using the name "Dirty Donna". There were profiles on Myspace, Bebo, Facebook, Adultwork and other social & adult networking sites.
I was losing work from photographers who thought it was really me that had put the profiles up & couldnt respect me for doing it so wouldnt shoot me, I lost a paid FHM shoot because of it & I lost fans who emailed me saying they were disgusted with me. I had people that had arranged meetings with "Dirty Donna" contacting me through my email address calling me a fake & a liar (but in worse terms) because they had rang the number given through these profile, been charged the earth for the calls & me not turning up to meets.
I tried to have profiles taken down & was sucessful on the sites where I had my own profile already up such as Adultwork & Myspace.

It all went quiet around 2 years agoafter someone posted a thread on here asking what had been going on & why I was suddenly offering no strings sex & I had the chance to set the record straight.
Well its happening again with a profile up on Adultwork, this time with a picture of someone being fucked & a picture of me so it looks like I am actually offering Escort services. Also a profile has gone up on the BDSM meet site CollarMe, where I have been an active Domme member for a couple of years, but the profile is as a submissive & that "Donna" is doing a hardcore porn shoot in Prague. All using the same pics & "Donna/"Dirty Donna" as before.

So I thought before a thread appears asking whats going on & seeing if I was suddenly offering sex/doing hardcore under the name "Donna", I would explain myself & set the record straight.

I learnt a hard lesson on that one shoot & as the photographer he can use the pics how he wants, its just a shame he was down right deceptive to get the pictures & seems intent to keep doing this despite the fact it looses me shoots, fans & in some cases respect from others in this industry unless they know what has really happened.

Moral of story - you sign a release, you give away ALL rights to the photographer. And usually depending on the release wording this means the images can be used in asscoiation with any wording and other pictures, etc.

Yeah, I know & generally almost all shoots need a model release signed, but MOST photographers do with the pictures what they have told the model they will do with the pictures. Had I been told that he wanted to make these profiles everywhere I wouldnt have done the shoot. Most photographers are honest, you just get the odd one that isnt & just wants to make a models life hell for their own financial gain.

impuk - you are bang out order - most of us DECENT, honest togs/videographers/producers are HONOURABLE people..........to get a model to sign a MR with the intention of ABUSING that trust is SICKENING.

====================================================

Honey - my sympathies are with you, on our shoots you/we have been totally honest and trustworthy : all i can say is good luck, don't let the odd TWAT get you down, the vast majority of GOOD people out there know that you are a great person.

btw : my trip down to the south west is not happening next month but i will be down there later in the year and will deffo book you again.

take care luv JP xx

Thats cool JP, just let me know when & we can arrange things-I just hope by then Ive finally sorted out a car as currently Im using the train to go everywhere & you would need to pick me up from the station lol!

Adultwork & Collarme have been very good & removed immediately, with Adultwork replying back that one of my regular "slaves" actually reported the profile just before me. CollarMe replied saying that they are glad I mailed them about it as if they had picked up on 2 profiles of the same person, they would have banned both, which would have caused me no end of problems as I have shoots & sessions discussed & in the process of being booked through there.

Anyone that sees a suspect profile using pics of me when I was younger (had blond highlights in my hair), please do let me know, thanks!!

I still think you could have a claim regardless as it deformation of charachter regardless if you are a adult model. clearly you has a case. You DOES NOT do B/G you are not going to prague and I'm supprised that adultwork allow this person to put this up. I would email them telling them to removed them or you'll seek legal advice. I think they will remove them without hesitation with a threat of legal action.

LoL did i say people werent in general honest ? Either you didnt read/understand what i said or you had a guilty conscience and felt it applied to you.

And this thing about "trust" what a croc of sh**t. I cant believe you are suggesting models should trust certain togs. For definite, models shouldnt trust any tog that says one thing but the release says something different.

Its a legal document, get the tog to change it until it matches what he says. If he says images are to be used for 6months only then i needs to say that in there. Excuse - i didnt have time to check the release , answer - clearly the money for the shoot outweighed your worry about the release and whne the s would be used, otherwise you would postpone the shoot.

While we are on the subject, both sides can be at fault at times. (nothing to do with HoneyB or me, im not the tog she is referring to).
Ive been in the industry 15 yrs and despite telling my models that my release means i have full rights to publish anywhere it never ceases to amaze me how many models think they can take my money for the shoot sign the release, and come back to me 6 months later and say "oh please take my pics down - i met a new bloke and dont want him to find out".

Jason, I was simply saying moral of the story is read the release.... it must match what has been verbally agreed. Most releases give unrestricted use of the images, every pro tog and every pro model knows this.

I'm inclined to agree with kiNky erOtica - the model release gives him the right to use your images wherever he likes, but not to misrepresent your levels or impugn your character.

hmmm

You were perfectly willing to accept the work on and for the con that followed and the rip offs the punters who signed up for the site would have got based on your 'faked' pictures but once the con started effecting you appear to have started moaning.

A hard lesson and I am certain your fans will appreciate being told that the 'new' stuff is fake. Perhaps a bigger lesson would have been not to subscribe to the deliberate con 'fake' pics in the first place.
