Depends on travel, and what you want done.

Is it JUST filming - leave the tape with you, or dumped to your PC - , or is it also editing?

If editing, amateur result or Playboy quality? How much footage will there be? 30 mins carefully structured material is easy to edit. 3 hours of messy footage is a whole days work...

What he said

Youre better off getting a cameraman who can also edit as it would be cost effective than getting them seperate and as Paul said, depends on thow time consuming and complex the job requirements are.

Camcorder and give you the tape is the cheapest.

HD camera, lights, stills and editing will cost considerably more

Thanks guys. My partner has been asked to film a shoot in London. It's literally just to turn up and point the camera. All equipment is coming from the tog. Have no idea how much to charge fairly.
