Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Evan.

The reason I am posting is to ask for some advise on how to go about opening up my own website. I did try a few years ago to open up my own website but due to poor finances never managed to get the site up & running. I have spoken with the BGAFD Admin via email & he said id be better off posting hear for some advise on the matter.

If anyone could give me some tips or any advise at all id really be very greatful.

Blimey..well where does one begin. How about telling us what you know and what you are profiicent in?

Otherwise miost people are happy selling clips on clips4sale and adultwork if you mean doing your own site, designing, hosting and all that stuff if you know it already then you are good to go

I would suggest www.beerandbollocks.com but they seem to be more of a tough crowd compared to here so be warned but there are good people everwhere willing to help.

Are you a producer or just buying in content?

No one will help you for the magnitude of the answer to your question. Otherwise there are books for that

My server is based in USA and called the Entangled Web - been using them for 10 years and they are good hosts

To set up costs nothing and he hosts started packages for about $5 / month for new models and websites - no hassle with payments and your always live

- site never goes down and is always extremely fast

I cant help you with the webdesign stuff as I dont have enough time to edit and upload my own stuff BUT maybe able to reccomend somebody to you - one of my girl models does this

I think OEJ has just about covered it but i would suggest starting off with an Adultwork profile especially if funds are a bit tight, you will learn form the experience and can expand from there, best of luck.

Thanks everyone for the advise I really do appricate it.

After reading the responses I think my best option at this point would be to start off with an adultwork account & slowly build from there, as money is alittle tight at the moment.
