Is it normal when appproached by a guy who runs a site and wants you to join him on a shoot (not local) and then be on his site doing regular updates of pics, to ask you to pay ?25 towards cost for the day, and also buy a quality bottle of wine for the hosts and thats before the cost of petrol to get there and back. It was a content shared shoot, so i wouldnt have been paid for this shoot as it is.
I just feel it's unfair, or is this normal practice? There was no mention from the start about any possible costs.
Finished ranting lol

Lets just say i very politely emailed the guy and said i was no longer interested in doing the shoot & appologised for pulling out.
Lesson learned lol

I was also asked to do that content shared shoot with you until i was told it was exclusive to them only & i also had to pay ?25 for the privilege of their guys humping me.
No Jo its not normal practice to do content share where you don't get content & have to pay a fee as well...i to declined the offer, see you in a couple of weeks xx.

Ladies, get serious.
If someone wants you to pose for them, THEY PAY YOU.
thats how adult modelling works.
stick "content share" up their arse.

No content share works well if its fair, if we shoot something the other model gets film footage in various formats ( including HD) plus a disc of High Res pics.
If its done right the people will be back again & again...word soon gets around quick in the industry if you do it wrong.

If you and the people you work with think content share is good- then fair play to them.
Never seen a model make much money from it through (but please prove me wrong) so I'd still say if a person is doing this for a job, rather than a hobby, it's better to get paid.

I mean- if a person can equally the ammount they would have got paid by selling the content they are given, then thats great.
But that seems very rare.
If people are doing it for fun, and want footage in return, thats great too.
