Yep, time for a dumb question!

As someone who has never bought an R18 vid / DVD (only HC from overseas for me), are they worth the effort if I can track down a decent supplier or are they still full of edits etc due to our constantly dull anti-porn laws?

No you get top quality now in the UK. have a look at
only a small selection of DVDs but we are adding to them each month.
