Looking at getting some new video editing software - have looked at possibly using Cyberlink Powerdirector 8 - your comments on that software or pointers to better alternatives (Born of experience) as always very much appreciated !bow!

It has to be Final Cut. Nothing else comes near.

I use Sony Vegas. Not cheap, very good but I've only scratched the surface.

Only ever used Premiere Pro. Currently using CS4 and would recommend to anyone.

We use Sony Vegas 8 & pinnacle 12, depends on what were editing, Sony Vegas is handy for zooming in on the frame etc if you want a soft version & pinnacle 12 does what it says on the tin & its easy to use.

Hi Kim babe,

Was looking at Pinnacle 12 last night (think twister pointed me in that direction too !thumbsup!.) looks good and not too expensive. There seems to be 3 versions though !!! is it worth just going straight for the big one ?
