Paysite for sale

I am looking to sell a paysite, but not really sure where to do so or how to go about it but having seen a couple of topics along a similar topic I though can't do any harm to try her and if it isn't the best place then hopefully one of you good guys or gals may be able to point me in the right direction.

Ok here's the deal.

I have an established solo girl paysite which I am very reluctantly looking to give up as I just don't have the time for it and no longer have the desire (it's going to hurt like hell to give it up, but I don't really have much choice). The site has always been a hobby that I'd hoped may have led to something more but due to other commitments and what have you I just have never had the time to put into it other than shooting the content and maintaining the site. The site has a good reputation and good reviews.

The site currently turns over just enough to cover running costs of server and model fees, which considering I put virtually no time and effort whatsoever into the marketing side is very encouraging and shows that there is very obvious potential for this to be profitable for someone with the time and know-how to market it.

The content is all completely exclusive and I'd be signing it over fully. Approximate numbers, around 50000 images over 400-500 sets, and 100 videos. It's all solo girl content, mostly upto masturbation (toys/fingers). Without going and doing a count, I'd estimate somewhere around 100 different models featured. I would also be supplying sufficient content to cover atleast 1-2 months updates.

There is an affiliate scheme and a growing number of affiliates.

I'm not sure how paysites are valued, but I shouldn't think it'd be much different to any other business. I'd be looking for offers ?60,000 upwards. Consider the content and what it would cost to buy that quantity fully exclusive (not cheap shared rights) or to shoot it, add in the website itself and the fact it's established and I feel that is a fair starting point. At the end of the day, I could pretty much abandon it, leave it as an archive site and earn considerably more than I'd get interest from a bank on 60k

I'm looking only for serious enquiries and offers. At this moment I'm not posting my identity or the site url for obvious reasons but that will be provided to anyone wth a serious interest.

Any imput from others would be most welcome, pointers on the valuation and where one would go to buy and sell such a site etc. I did consider ebay but not sure they'd allow it.

Anyway, that's it, if anyone has any questions at all then fire away.

hi mannornot

you say above its a solo girl site, but elsewhere there is over 100 models on it.

is the current model still shooting?

as for valuation from other deals i have heard about recently most sales are going for around 6 months income.

hope this helps

Sorry Paul, I should've made it clearer, when I said the site was a solo girl site what I meant was the content was solo girl and not boy/girl as one might expect on the BGAFD.

With regards to the 6 months income, there is just no way I would ever let it go for that kind of price, I'd have to be completely bonkers. It would make much much better financial sense to either just sell the content OR to leave the site running as an archive site without updates for a one-off sign-up fee than to sell at that kind of figure.

Sorry but I don't want the fact that I'm contemplating selling to be made public at the minute. If you're interested, drop me an email and I'll happily provide the info but I just don't want to put it on a forum at the minute.

?60,000 for a site that is only just breaking even sounds ridiculous to me.

Why?

If someone was planning starting a paysite, it would cost tens of thousands to get it off the ground to shoot or acquire the content, and this is an already established site. It may not be profitable currently, but if it can cover operating costs with virtually no time or money spent on the promotional marketing side then the potential is certainly there.

A business would normally be valued taking many factors into consideration, assets, stock, name, turnover, profit or loss, potential, etc.

Like I say, at the end of the day, I could just leave the site running as is as an archive site with a one-off sign-up and the only real running cost would be the server, it would bring in a small income that would exceed the interest 60k would earn in a bank at current interest rates.

You don't pay your models much then !wink!

Fair enough though, maybe you could be looking at 20k in model fees to shoot that quantiuty of content, but would anyone seriously sell the content they'd shot to only recoup the model fee? NO. So could you buy the content for that cost? NO. Yes you could shoot it for that cost, maybe even less, but how long would it take and what value would you place on your time/work.
