Hello everyone! I'm a 24 year old male from London and i've always wanted to work in the adult industry, being an actor in both films and stills and even website work.
I am 6'3, good looking and well endowed, but I'm finding it hard to get a foot in the door so to speak! Does anyone know of any directors/producers currently looking for new talent..? I am based in London but could travel almost anywhere as this is something I have ALWAYS wanted to do!
Hopefully someone will be able to advise on what to do!

Hi there and welcome to the BGAFD.
From what you say, I presume that you have never "performed" on set or on camera before?
If that's correct then, to be honest, no producer will risk the high cost of a shoot on a male with an unknown performance.
The advice they will ALL give you is to "put your money where your mouth is" and to hire yourself a b/g model who would be prepared to work with you, hire yourself a studio and video cameraperson. Then shoot yourself a "showreel" (plus some stills photos) that you can then show to producers so that they can see what you look like and how well you can "perform".
To be straight, without that, you stand very little chance of getting in.
Anyway, good luck.

PS.
Almost forgot the most important bit. You would also HAVE to get yourself STI/HIV tests at a GUM clinic and obtain a "certificate" of test results NO MORE than 28 days prior to the date of the shoot. All test results would have to be "clear or negative" before you could "work".

well I actually have just completed my first paid shoot last week with some established performers, so now I am in a position where I can provide references, and I am also fully certed.
I really want to do this on a fulltime basis so I really now want to try and get my name out there. Does anyone know of any directors/ producers whom I could contact in regard to potential work..?

If you have pics - solo and hard - from said shoot, get listed on AIR.
Also try Walpole, LLW and Blue Diamond.
If you DON'T have pics, get some. Life is too short for producers to take up references - if you really impressed, the guy you worked for will book you again, and word will spread, (usually because a producer calls his producer mate and says - "need a guy at short notice, know anyone?".
