I've got a big problem with a web designer, I was hoping someone here might help.

Basically, I paid a designer to design my site, which he has done. However he now will not upload the thing.

Could anyone with skills in this area help?

I have viewed the site (where he has shown me a test of it) and it all works fine. However i'm not an IT expert.

I paid a deposit, then he did the work.

Its absolutely my own fault, i got stung

I have the site, he just uploaded the thing in the wrong damn place!

Then he hasn't completed his job.

The work has been done, this is just a couple of buttons to fix.

Unless of course "the wrong place" is the place you told him to put it.

Even so, he should still be OK uploading to right place. Either you or he should have access to "the wrong place" so even if everythjing has been deleted from your local machines, you can just ftp it all down. Even if it uses a CMS and a DB that can't be downloaded, it's trivial to recreate the right environment in the right palce....

Kind BGAFD members have helped fix this, which I appreciate

This is certainly a lesson learned.
