Ive just d/loaded a "pumping plumpers" clip featuring Kirsten Halborg from a newsgroup, however instead of the normal rar and par files, its split as avi.001 to avi.022 plus 8 par files.

What do I use to join the avi files, as smartpar doesnt recognise them. Ive also tried renaming the avi.00x files to just avi files but only file 001 would play.

I know its a long shot, but are there any rar experts out there that can help.

When in the NG you need to select all the parts of the file 1-22, easiest way is to click on the first part then scroll down/up to the last part and press CTRL+Shift, then left click and combine & decode, when done the complete file will open in a new window double click on it to view or save to a folder etc. HTH

For that you need the program called:

HJSplitt

Cheers Dutch, d/loaded HJSplit and it worked, I now have the complete clip.

Shaun thanks for your tip but it was joining the 001 files I was asking, not d.loading them.

These are not .rar files. They can be joined with HJ Split.
