I recently started shooting for an amateur company which are saying that in order to keep their amateur status are telling me not to film or model with anyone else....

I haven't signed a contract stating i'm exclusive to them, is it right for them to say this?
Thoughts anyone? !confused!

Basically you can work for who you want unless they have drawn up a contract and agreed to pay you salary to keep you exclusivley

whoever it is, if you haven't signed anything then no, they can't ask you to do that

If you haven't signed anything and they aren't paying you for exclusive, yes, you can work for anyone you like.

They might stop shooting you of course - so are you getting enough regular work on terms you like from them? If so, stay with them. If not, take other work.

Have you got your modelling details and a photo to post on this forum?.

NEVER ever sign any such exclusive 'deal' with anybody unless it's for your own (owned) site.

I'm going to show myself as even more of a newbie now, what do you mean exactly by modelling details?

The photos i have to post are ones my partner or i have taken, the ones from the company (which i don't want to name) probably would give the game away
