*INDUSTRY TESTING & DATABASE DISCUSSION*

Hiya,
Well I just received a message from OEJ that I am sure many others will have received regarding the meeting UKAP had with the Dr Mac Sweany about creating the electronic testing database for the UK.
From what I could make out the proposal is to create a national network of THT and NHS clinics that industry performers can be tested freely for the duration of the year for the one off price of a annual subscription fee. On top of that they are planning to organise that the results are databased on a centralised website where models and directors can log in and verify the results of their tests.
This is amazing news for all of us and I can not see why anyone would be opposed to this system. The figures that have been put out there for the annual fee are HALF what we pay per month! I am not sure about the access to the interview so I will leave that to OEJ to post up if and when he has time.
WE COULD SAVE APPROXIMATELY ?1200 PER YEAR OPPOSED TO PRIVATE CLINIC TESTING AS IT IS AT THE MOMENT. NO BRAINER?
The first thing that I did was search the forums for more information on this and I could not find any discussion. I though I would start a thread for performers to contribute their input and support. Please I do not mean to be rude but can we try to keep this thread down to performers only. There is no facility for us to have private online discussion about this on either BGAFD or UKAP so lets just talk it out here.
What they need to make this happen then is our support as models. They need to know national numbers of tests made by the adult industry and where the tests are being done. We need to let them know certain things about our testing procedures.
So to keep it simple I thought we could help by posting our details here if you want to be a part of this.
Your post should detail these points -
Where do you get tested -
How often do you get tested -
What do you pay to get tested -
Lets help make something happen guys and girls, all this needs is your participation and support. The benefits of the new system further protect our HEALTH and our working conditions.
Positivity is the only way to move forward, if enough of us 'want' this then we can make it happen.
