I've got just over ?55,000 in savings, I've toyed with the idea of setting up my own porn production web business, but not sure if I should try to go it alone or find 1 or 2 business partners willing and able to add to the pool of money. The porn that interests me the most are unscripted orgy scenes with minimum of 4 to 6 girls. It's the sort of porn I'd prefer to buy, so I assume there is a market for it. Eromaxx seem to be doing very well. I also have an eye on performing, but not sure if this makes good business sense, or would spell financial suicide. I'm UK based, but prepared to relocate anywhere in the EU.
Anyway, porn is my passion, and I would very much like to take that passion to the next level.

Porn business is about Distribution, distribution, and distribution.

That style of shoot is EXPENSIVE, even in Eastern Europe.

It's lots of girls, lots of guys, makeup people and lot's of camerapeople plus a LOT of editing.

They make it work because they have multiple outlets who will take their stuff sliced and diced in lots of ways.

But for a new guy to try and pull it off, you'd lose your money fast.

If you want to make a business in porn, relocation is probably something you should look at, but you need to start with something cheaper to shoot, if only to let you build your production skills and find a good crew and show potential buyers that you can deliver. (You do have enough money for that).

The marketplace is currently over-saturated to the point that even big names are suffering badly.
Private alone ended production of 2 of their magazines a few months ago and they are buying movies for as low as $20,000 USA

You should be aware of that before you invest a penny into any production.

You're bound to get a good response to this post, given that you have a lot of money to invest. However the chance of getting a good return on that kind of investment, in the current climate is pretty small; so if you're going to try it, try a small production with a small amount of money and see if you can make it work, before blowing your life savings.

Much more money than ?55K has been blown in this business (mentioning no names!) so go carefully.
