A model has just brought to my attention, a photographer with purestorm account promising huge returns to the model by building her a customized billing website on a 50/50 profit share basis.

The deal is, the model supplies and make herself available to shoot soft and hard b/g contents, the photographer manages the site uploading updates and manage billings etc...

...and guess who is the stud in the deal to provide b/g contents (yep, you guessed it, the photographer himself)

so there you go, the photographer get a free fuck off the model to provide b/g contents and also take 50% cut on website profit and also likely to flog some of the shoots provided by the models to third party websites behind her back and also not likely to declare the true earnings from the site to share with the model.

This type of arrangement is just too full of pitfalls and any sensible model should stay away from such deals.

...It is likely the scammer only preys on vulnerable innocent new adult models as more established adult models will tell him where to go.

All well and good, except you are making assumptions.

i.e. do you know for a fact that the photographer will take a 50 % cut and not declare the website's true earnings? How 'likely' is the photographer to flogs shoots of the models behind their back? Is that definate fact?

If the tog performs with the model , will build a website and legitamely share the profits 50/50, then that's fine.

Obviously, if it is proven that the photographer does not honour such an agrement, then, of course that's wrong. It could all be a bit suspect, but that cannot be claimed as fact until all the facts are known.

Like any business venture you have to make sure that those you get involved with are honest.....

We branched out about two years ago now and build sites for alot of people as well as our own, we've just start out 12th site for a customer and we take a cut rather than a fee and it works well for both parties,

I dont think i could be bothered to shoot their content though lol thats more trouble than its worth to be honest and your kind of crossing the boundry a little.

I would advise you check them out first however and ask to see evidence of there portfolio and get some references.

When I read things like this it reinforces my belief that such producers associations like UKAP should exist and that producers being part of it are consiodered reliable...whether amateur or professional.

Its all too easy taking pot shots at new producers but on the same hand its hard establishing ones self in such a short space of time.

If UKAP was more recognised as an industry standard for producers then there wouldnt be this kind of thing going on.

All in all, we got a long way to go as an industry.

How do people think they can earn lots of money when there is no real infra structure to his business?

This would be a good deal for any model if it wasnt for the photographer also being the stud, 50% of the take is not unreasonable if you are building the site and taking the photos, but if the photographer is also the stud then he cannot be taking the pics so i assume he would be shooting from a tripod in which case the material would be shite and the end result would be few subscribers to the site.

This is also wrong. If your goal is to make her site successful, you shouldn't fuzz who the model shoots with.

This type of arrangements is just too full of so many holes like i've highlighted in first post and fully rely in your trust on the tog to be truthfull at all times.

The problem with that is, in this industry you must learn not to trust anyone even your mom. lol
They will shit on you.

That is why i'll stay 100m miles away from this type of arrangement.

To give you an example of how far this could go on...

we go back to this tog, after promising the model huge returns and after say 6 months, he still can't deliver the promised huge returns on the site, he will presurise the model she must up her levels to anal etc.. to ge the revenue going and if after a year still no revenue from the site, the models gives up and abandon the site, the tog packs his bags and away with the model contents and could sell to third party websites then promptly move on the the next unsuspecting model and the scam cycle begins again

I think the promising huge returns is dangerous ground, as you never really know the potential of a site... even the fittest, hottest, dirtiest girls dont always sell... so agree it's wrong to make these kind of claims...

Dont agree with the "it shouldnt matter who she shoots with" I have shot girls who have their own studs... and that doesnt always equal the best option... the would be studs aint always up for it, you know the whole getting hard in front of another guy, delivering the cum shot ect... that can be far worse than POV shot stuff by a street...
