Hi folks , I have a basic version of my website up and running today (needs some tweaking which is being done at the moment) but will be adding loads of content for the official launch on July the 1st. If you wish to join the site I can send a paypal join now link that you can just click on.
does anyone else use paypal for their transactions or do you all use ccbill? if so what are the advantages/ disadvantages?

I'd avoid paypal like the plague, it only takes on person to complain your taking payments for an adult site and they will shut down your account and freeze your money.

We use verotel and epoch currently, never used ccbill but lots of people do.

I think most billing companies are all much of a muchness now just stick with the reputable ones and ask a few people if they have had any issues getting paid on time as thats your main concern.

If your going to use affiliate systems to promote your site and content, ccbill is quite good as well as epoch and verotel

guys , please try and be patient, I am uploading pics etc( still doing this as we speak, along with other things) however I did notice the link ( or lackof it ( worked on my computer before uploading !confused! but link should be fixed now

Sounds like your pic links are either pointing at your pc (so they won't work for anyone else) or you haven't uploaded the pics at all.

Asylum is right - Paypal is definitely not a good idea. They don't like adult sites and they WILL shut you down sooner or later, probably sooner.

So why do folk use
1) ccbill
2) verotel
3) epoch
would be verygrateful for guidance as clearly I need to amke a decission immminently

I use verotel and epoch,

I prefer the affiliate system on epoch. We've been with verotel for 5 years and epoch for about 1 now.

The epoch support is really good, we have our own account manager now so any issues are solved quite quickly.
