I have just watched the mainstream French Film Romance in which Rocco played surprise, surprise a stud, the question is how did this pass through the censors, erections, the female lead giving blowjobs and hand jobs, just watched it and fucking amazed, does this pass as art??

Believe me, there appears to be no hard and fast rule about what level of explicit sexual behaviour is allowed in mainstream (certificate 18) arthouse fare. Romance got through, Baise Moi had minimal cuts, The Realm Of The Senses is widely available, and yet the BBFC asked for the makers of The Pornographer to remove the money shot at the end of a long and very explicit blowjob sequence - giving the impression that whilst it's okay to see a hard dick get sucked in an arthouse film, it's not okay to see the chap get off. The mind boggles.

These aint like the French films I used to stay up late & watch on a Saturday night on BBC2 when I was young, where you hoped the young attrative leading lady would disrobe at some point!! 9 times out of ten she would. Used to be a fair amount of nudity, moaning & groaning & the viewer having to use their imagination!! GOD what's happening?? Guess it cos you can see hard core films on French Cable & Sat channels that's it's becoming more & more acceptable. Hey you youngsters you live in more exciting times now!!
