The real pitfalls of entering porn

I like many blokes have wanted to join the pro ranks of porn but what are the real problems associated with being a male porn model? My family circumstances have changed and am seriously considering doing something part time to start with. Can anybody from within the industry help me out with these question? TIA

Are you already in porn? Because if you havent done any work, just getting your first shoot will be very, very tough. You will be considered an amateur for ages and only a handful of guys i have worked with over the 7 years i've been doing this, would I consider to be pros.

Simple - no wood = no work.
If you can get it up easy, keep it up, fuck for ages and then make it spit you will get work and get noticed and get more work and work for the bigger companys.
