Testing Rumours

People have unprotected sex outside the Industry. Shock fact or common sense ? With their partners. With / as escorts. After the pub on a Friday night. To deal with this fact, Bluebird has always offered a free Testing service to all our contract girls and indeed to anyone who wishes to perform with us. Results are provided to us directly by the clinic. No faking, no forging. Still, people have unprotected sex outside the industry. Testing does not stop this - nor does being an adult performer. It's not supposed to. Testing is not there to EXCLUDE infection risk. It can't. But it minimises and ringfences risk and provides early warning of infection. By being a responsible Producer and by subsidising testing, Bluebird stands firmly in the circle of risk reduction. The adult industry maintains a higher standard of sexual health than the real world. That, in essence, is the problem.

Do Bluebird book girls that escort on a regular basis?
Which clinic are Bluebird in collaboration with to provide this free testing service?
Would Bluebird admit that a 'punter' that frequents escorts/prostitutes is far more likely to carry an STD than a regular guy at the pub?
Would Bluebird discourage it's contract girls to escort, to minimise infections even further? (Being contracted, and on so much money, I guess your contract girls have no need at all to escort at all, so forgive me if it's a silly question.)
Also your statement,
The adult industry maintains a higher standard of sexual health than the real world.
...is false. A true statement would be that the adult industry does more testing -per person- for STD's than the real world, but as for the standard of sexual health compared to the real world, then your statement is wrong.
How would I be so confident? Well, the facts suggest that the more sexual partners, the bigger risk of infection. A pornstar -on average- will sleep with more people per year than mr/mrs average who stacks shelves/works in a bank.
A pornstar, who also escorts, will have even more partners, with those partners being classed as 'highest risk'(if you take away drug users who share needles) within NHS GUM clinics, because those 'extra' partners will be punters who regularly pay for sex.
Less escorting, will mean less risk; less risk means less infections, and less infections means less need to forge your own tests. It also means less cancellations, which mean less time off for models (they gain financially) and less cancelled shoots and lost deposits, meaning producers gain financially.
Everybody's happy(er).

Working bareback doing 'double anal trannie porn' in Brazil is part of the sex industry, but would you do a scene alongside a guy/girl fresh off the plane doing that?
While escorting may be part of the sex industry, it isn't part of the porn industry.

And to be fair we don't get to many of them off the plane now do we???
But i'll stand by my point sex sells...And working in the sex industry you do take risks...
Thank fully companies like bluebird are helping to minimise the risk....

Can we just take a deep breath and get some perspective
Some porn stars are escorting, they are not engaging in street walking prostitution
Clients who pay upwards of ?350/hour for there services are very successful, often have a partner and are totally paranoid about catching an STD (and giving it to their girlfriend/wife)
At the top end of the escort industry escorts, agencies and clients are not interested in bareback sex
Call a top escort agency and enquire about bareback sex, make a post about bareback sex on an escort forum and see what kind of reception you get
You maybe surprised to hear that a lot of clients will not see an escort who also works as a porn star, because clients don?t want to take the risk of having protected sex with an escort who in her day job (as a porn star) engages in unprotected sex
When a girl goes to work as an escort she goes to work sober and with a strict set of rules
You should be more worried about what people are getting up to when they go out for a night on the town, people are often more careless once they have had to much to drink
