Hopefully, posting this will get me some decent recommendations for both designers and adult CMS systems...

At the moment I have taken Spuffco offline, pending finalising my members area of the site...

Having thought about the site, without working on it or new content, for the last few weeks, i'm in a mixed mind about whether to just start again, with a complete redesign, and integrate a CMS system such as Awiz (http://v5.awizsoft.com/.

I do like the crisp, simple design I currently have (http://www.spuffco.com/spuffv1), which runs using Joomla! CMS, but i'm not sure how great it is for running a decent members area, which I can update easily (there are currently no decent Joomla! plugins for what I have in mind).

So.... i'm interested in receiving recommendations, regarding decent adult design companies (with their url's), and any other adult CMS systems that can be easily integrated. Budget will be my main issue, but i'm open to anything.

Okay, here is a quick and dirty recipe:

Joomla is a better CMS because you have far greater flexibility over the design of it and are able to extend it if need be.

So, for video with Joomla:

1. Get the aMember script for managing memberships. It is compatible with CCBill, and you can purchase an additional plugin so that it can integrate with Joomla. Their website is www.amember.com

2. Obtain a Joomla component which allows videos to be displayed in the .flv format. I know (if memory serves) there is a free, or cheap, one which allows you to plug video straight into your pages in a similar way to YouTube. Get the free Riva Flash encoder if you don't have access to Adobe Flash.

3. Buy an 'Off the Shelf' Joomla template. Whichever kind of website you develop, it will always need good design, but a template like the ones found at www.joomlart.com allow you to jump to the middle of the design process, rather than starting from scratch.

This is a very cheap (although not entirely fullproof) way of getting paid video viewers onto an existing Joomla installation. I prefer this, because it quite 'plug and play', yet leaves a lot of scope for further development.
