Slightly offtopic but I know a lot of you on here have been using HDV. Has anyone had any problems with it, especially during grading?

I need to shoot some stuff on a Z1 which needs to edit into something which i've shot on HDCAM. Can't decide if I should shoot HDV on the Z1 or SD and then upscale?

BBC are saying that they don't like HDV shot on Z1s when downgraded to DVCAM. They say that it odesn't show motion as well as when shot in DVCAM. They are happy to accept DVCAM on the Z1 for broadcast. I would bu a Z1 and shoot DVCAM.
