No wonder this industry is in such a state when you get new producers being slagged off before they even get a chance to show what they might or might not have to input into an industry that is on it's arse and stagnating even more every day!

It's good to be supportive, but when someone new is looking to start up and posts the following:

...I can see why there'd be cynicism.
No girl to shoot, no location at which to shoot the girl that he doesn't have etc.
So what he actually does have is, well,...him. Not exactly a unique selling point.
There are a fair few people on here who are happy giving advice, but it would be better to have a bit more to bring to the table when looking for a business partner than just oneself.
