Hi all,
I have just finished film school and am looking to make a low budget feature film and need a camcorder to allow me to become the next Stevie Spielberg (in my dreams).
Does anyone have a camcorder they might be willing to sell at a good price so that I can begin production on my blockbuster? A huge "thanks to the very generous . . . " credit will of course be included. !bow!
Needs to be a pro camcorder such as the PANASONIC AG - DVX100 or Sony HDR-FX1 etc. These allow recording at 24fps, which, should the need arise will allow blow up to film.
Any advice or help will be much appreciated.
Regards
Bradley

Hi Keith,
Having worked on a number of low-budget productions myself I understand all you have said and also recognise some of the scenarios you have amusingly outlined.
I will take advantage of your invitation and will email you direct to ask for some more advice and ideas from you as you obviously speak from experience.
Regards
Bradley

Re: Desperatley seeking camcorder
Keith! Reading you say that reinforces my reasoning for going into porn in the first place.
Tried my hand at amateur film making and even got into rstrum photography but found I was not happy being a cog to a boring chain of command. If I was to get into anything it would be animation but who knows what the future lies. I never thought I'd be making porn but here I am.
It certainly wasnt on my agenda at school with my careers advisor.

Re: Desperatley seeking camcorder
The availability of camcorders and editing equipment etc means that you can have fun making dramas etc and that's what I'd love to do. Just on the look out for a camera.
Nearly got one from Poppy but she had sold it just before I was going over to pick it up. !tears!
That was a real shame as it was the perfect camera for me and at a very fair price. I was almost touching distance to making my first feature film.
But now I'm on the hunt for a camera again and hope someone can help.

Re: Desperatley seeking camcorder
A final plee for any one who might have a camcorder for sale to a budding Spielberg. Please help.
I was about to but Poopy Morgan's Panasonic camera and after striking a deal with her and withdrawing the cash from the hole in the wall, was then told she'd just sold it to someone else - leaving me well and truly heartbroken. !glum!
Can anyone else step in and help me out?
Kind regards
