Katy, If you had looked through previous postings from porn subject documentary makers, you would have seen that they get very short shrift from the members of this forum, as generally the programme comes down on the 'isn't porn horrible, and full of slimeballs etc' side of things. Been caught out too many times. Dont take it personally.

I was almost going to reprimand those for attacking like Raptors for their negativity but then thought about it....Sic em doggies! Sic em!

What an incendiary subject. You're damned if you do like it and you are damned if you dont. It just seems TVs mission is to always put the industry down as degenerate, depraved wretches being exploited by vicious porn lords with no moral scruples...Well thats ultimately how it will turn out.

What girlfriend is going to gush:

'"I cant wait to get my fellas cock in my mouth after its been in some birds arse that I dont know all day....I fucking love it"

Is this supposed to be an incisive look into UK porn? It seems a tad shallow at best.

No doubt some self promoting person not representative of this industry will want to take part and be villified by all their locals and members of the adult community for it.

Cant you guys do something a bit more interesting than this? Like donate the production money to a worth while charity would be nice.

A better programme would be if they got a female producer to enter the world of porn as a model, then present the first hand viewpoint.

Plenty of mileage in 'my first job application' 'my first time on set' 'my first action' 'my first DP'

I'm wondering if 'Katy' will reply to this thread, I doubt it though, we've seen this toss sooooo many times before. So I propose that we on this here website start a thread stating that:
Unpaid cretin wanted for research.
Applicants must work in the media, sorry, meeja.
Qualifications, a degree in media studies darlings or something, (not social studies though, that's so nineties)
Must have daft haircut ( oh! that's so rad Tamsin!)
Must get Jack-shit of a salary in the industry( because one day my child you could be the next Trisha/Jeremy/Vanessa fat bird)
You must above all get a bunch of retards into the studio, remember to chide them into slagging off the unfortunate or gullible individuals on stage at all times whether the person/s have a valid viewpoint or not.
You must at all times discuss the state of the 'media' with your pseudo-intellectual friends giving discourses on the reasons why television is dumbing down nowadays and it doesn't matter anyway because you hardly watch it anyway, well apart from 'Eastenders' because you can pick up tips on the underclass from it.
OH! and lastly, the research, what would that be? oh, yes, its researching into why would you want to "do" a documentary for major company: i.e. about 3 tossers in a crappy office off the Clerkenwell road.

I think they're part of the reason why we live in this increasingly stupid chavy culture that we do where people are more bothered about who nobody 'Chantelle' from Big Brother is sleeping with, than actually giving a toss about real issues.

Ive come to hate the "major" commercial TV companies - total exploitation and the beeb, I fucking well resent having to pay a TV licence so that a bunch of middle class fuckers can make programs (and present them) that they think the rest of us want to watch and then pay the "stars" a fortune for reading the news, and thats the news that they (gov) want you to see.
