Newbie Question

Hello
This is probably a "how long is a piece of string" kinda question but I'm interested in peoples opinion on how much content I should prepare for a site before I launch it.
I'm only at the early planning stages so there's not much mre information I can give you, but I will be shooting all the content (photo and video) myself and it sits in a niche wich doesn't seem to be that well served - Mind you, maybe that's 'cos it doesn't sell
I was thinking about 30 or so videos (full length, not just clips) and a similar number of photo sets. So long as I have a reasonable update schedule - say 3 or more new video's per week and 3 or more new photo sets per week that should provide resonable value for money but maybe I'm waaay under the mark there?
Thanks
Andy
