Can anybody please help me.

I am needing my std certs for a shoot i have in a couple of weeks but have been told by nhs direct that the only way i can get it done is to be referred by my GP.
I have also tried bupa aswell with no luck.

If anyone can help i would most appreciate it.

Do a search over on the promotions forum hiv/certs etc. lots of suggestions and leads (for leeds).

You'll have to contact them with regards to certs though.

Don't go down the root of Doctors Referal. Use the options supplied by Bayleaf & Jacques. As your listed as residing in Leeds, re-contact NHS Direct, for information on your nearest GUM Clinics to Leeds, get at least 3 diff clinics in, or around Leeds.

You can get all your tests done for free, all the STI's, Aids, etc. However, not all will supply the Certificate, even though you offer to pay, so check with them first for the best one to go with.

If your ever down in London, you can try the Indigo Clinic (again I believe it is free). If you check through these links, you should find info on various clinics.

i use charring cross hospital. its not free anymore but the charge is just ?35

my local GUM clinic charges ?120 for the certs so its cheaper for me to pay to go to london and back.

if you take your ID with you and pay for your certs while you are there, they will give you your HIV result certificate then and post the other results a week later

I'm gobsmacked that it was ever free for people who shag for a living.

Summer it will cost you a small fortune and alot of time getting to London etc.,
The one I use every month is alot closer and you get all the result in 3 days max.!wink!
