Hi guys, justa quick one, When creating a dvd and burning it Im a bit concerned about how long the thing takes. It takes a whole day to do it sometimes longer.
I have a brand new dvd rewriter and I use wmv clips and jpeg pictures.
Is that why it is so slow?
Also I do have avi movie files which are the files before I convert to wmv for web use.
I have only one volume where I can use the avi's but all of the older ones are wmv's as the guy I bought the website off did not have the originals.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards James

Thankyou for your reply. I am using adobe premier elements 2.0 and the movie files I am burning are wmv's and the images which are on the slideshow are jpegs. Both formats have been optimised for web use so I am not sure if that is the problem.

If you remember in your last post i did comment that you may have a problem burning wmv files to disk, try the avi files and see if that makes a difference if it dosnt then it could just be that your computer is running slow.

Ex Squeeze me, did i miss where you became the lord mayor of moderators ?
The mods are quite capable of doing their job, by posting this all you have done is make yourself look silly...
Allow me to sign a torch into your shell and enlighten you, By the time the mods had read the first 2 posts they would have made their choice and if they chose to move, it would already be moved by the time they saw your post, which makes you look silly.
If you have an issue, email the mods pointing the post out, posting in the thread is futile.
