Model Release Form - help ?

hi,
Sorry to sound (bottle) blonde - if I havent signed a model release form and I ask the photographer to withdraw my pics/profile from his site - is he allowed to say no and keep them up there ?
I've never had any work from him due to his lack of promoting the site/me so feel it's time to move on from him.
Thanks in advance.

Did you have an agreement between you stating usage conditions? Thats really the only thng that could affect this. No conditions means the photographer can do almost anything with the pictures. If you have an agreement and he's gone beyond that, then you obviously have legal recourse. (Whether its worth persuing is entirely another matter)
You say you didn't sign a release, but a release is just an agreement between two parties, you're not actually 'releasing' anything.

Did he shoot you for the pics ? If so, he does own the copyright . If they're just for a models listing site and you've got no work from it, he might as well take you down.
If you gave him the pics which were shot by another photographer, that photographer can complain of illegal use of his material without permission
