Hiya

Is it illegal for adult movies to be sold without their classification stated on them? If so, how are people getting away with selling them?

Cheers

Mellie

No-one's had the decency to answer you yet - so I'll have a go:

It is illegal for unclassified movies to be sold and people are getting away with it because they haven't been caught yet.

One way of getting away with it is moving to another country...

Is that the case for Europe?, and aren't we part of the EU!. Perhaps it's like the importing of Ciggy's from Europe the customs have to tread wearily. I think it's a real bad decision to enforce this when for example so many illegal imigrants are allowed to stay, very little enforcing going on there. Also it's plain daft enforcing it when you can download a film from say Europe.......

Rgb, thanks for that. I noticed that some adult films are being sold without any classification on them. They are all over the internet and being sold from different countries. Just wondered if it were legal here.
