A really good idea for models

Hello people

I want to tell the models here about a great service that many of you can benefit from. I have spoken to many models, photographers and agencies etc, and one thing I keep hearing is that it is hard to get hold of models on the phone. I spoke to an agency last week who said when they get a call from a customer to hire a model, the call a list of models and basically the first person to answer gets the work!

Most models have a mobile which is fine, but if you are at a shoot or out of range you can't answer it. Also if someone has your mobile number that you don't want to. it can be worrying. Also if you loose your mobile then people can't contact you. I have a solution that will really help models to make sure they never miss a call again!

In my company I have a VA, a virtual assistant. My VA answers my phone with "hello, welcome to MK Printing" and they know all about my company, my prices and delivery times. If you are calling you would never know that this person is based in a remote location from my company.

Now when someone calls they speak to my VA, she can deal with most issues over the phone and then they send me an e-mail or test with who it was and what they wanted. How professional would it be to have someone answer the phone like "Hello welcome to Miss X's assistant".

It does not cost a lot to do, you are talking about a monthly fee of ?5-10 and then about 70p per call answered. You will never need to give out your mobile or home number again! You can even tell the VA how much your rates are and also your availability.

To find out more about this service please call Anne on 01252 372824 and please say Matt from MK Printing told you about this service. There is no monthly contract and you can even divert your mobile or land line when you are not available to the new number.

I don't work for this company, I am a customer. It just seems that people who are always on the go like I am could really benefit from such a service. Just call up and chat to Anne and she will explain everything.

Matt, MK Printing

If you do have problem callers then I am sure you would not be charged for them. Also would you rather problem callers call and bother a PA or you at home?

So for those people who do not have grudges with people, this is a great idea. Even if you just divert your mobile when you can't answer it.

Would seem the traditional, cheaper and more logical alternative?

Or maybe a seperate pay as you go mobile just for answering work calls? Keeps your private mobile/landline number totally seperate.

or, try www.yac.com. Register for a free mobile number that you can customise to handle all call types how you want. I've used them for donkeys and have to say it is easy, cheap (most cases free) and you can receive faxes to email, voicemail, voice to email, and for ?2.50/month forward to uk mobile as well.
