just sent a new girl to the same day doctor in harley street

she was quoted ?110 for a hiv test which was agreed on arival
she was asked if she wanted a screen for clymidia ect

which she agreed to at no time was she told this would be at extra cost
at the end of the test which took 5 mins she was presented with a bill for ?300
i called and spoke to the receptionist
who said the bill stands and she is fed up with adult performers !!
she also stated that she would be happy never to see any performers at the clinic again!!!!!

outrageos these bastards rip you off and dont care about you

Complain to the GMC (General Medical Council)

I had the same happen with me at Bupa.

I was initially quoted ?47.00 and had all the tests done.

I then received a bill for ?200.00 just for the consultants time and they then tried to claim the cost of each test doining separatly which overall would have been around ?600.00

In the end they just agreed to charge the ?47.00 and i paid the ?200.00 to the consultant.

Hey why didnt she go to the Indigo clinic its free if she is in the industry.

I heard you have to pay for your tests.

If the Clinic is nowhere near me, where is the nearest Clinic, I am in Gloucestershire.

Make that, nearest (Any Decent) Clinic, not just a nearby Indigo Clinic

Must say I can highly recommend the Medicentre in Oxford Street Plaza.
8 (I think) tests including HIV 1 & 2 for ?180 & they even give you freshly squeezed orange juice free! Results within 3/4 days. I had a female doctor who performed a painless Gonorrhoea test to LOL!

Really,really nice people and no quizzing about my request for a certificate to take away !blush! Seems good value for money.

Best place I found up north lving in Leeds is a place near Darlington called Sedgefield where Gordon Laboratory Group do a full screen for ?105 and you get results in post within 2/3 days! There number is 01740622644

The Indigo Clinic seems to be the only nhs clinic that do it for free with certs, mind you I have heard that the Newcastle General do certs but charge ?30 for them and you have make return journry to collect results in person. Still no where in Leeds that does them yet unfortunatly!
