18....18....18 even for topless these days :)

In fact publishing a model under 18 in lingerie is illegal, if the image is deemed to be of a sexual nature !!!! Just so you realise that under 18's in lingerie ad's is ok as these are not meant to be provocative :)

In fact, as I understand it, if the picture could be deemed 'of a sexual nature' then it doesn't matter about clothing etc

Have a chaperone or too present

I remember once shooting a 13 year old with a kitten, I made sure the girls mum and the cats owner were both there too!

Did the cat or the owner sign the model release :) And you're right almost any pic of a model under 18 cannot be provocative now ...

Mr Nova to add this as well... If the model is 18 but looks younger I would definitely require two forms of photo id as proof of age.. There is one current model who has worked under age unknown to many with a fake passport !

In fact its really relevant to this.

The pic I was shown of the girl, by her 'agency' was quite provocative, of her in a tennis outfit, based on just that pic, you could easily have believed you were booking an 18-19 year old.

In fact a local studio found one guy, innnocently it was believed, photographing a topless 15 year old. Both studio owner and photographer were pretty upset about it, the girl being from the same long gone agecy.

I did shoot a couple of non glamour pics of a 15/16 year old from the same place, but had mum in the room too, and both parents came with the girl to see the results

Nowadays, I couldnt sell any pics of girls under 18, so don't shoot them

(Having said that Susie Best in a St Trinians outfit is a different thing)

Isn't provocative in the eye of the beholder?
I bet some paedophiles have got pics that to you or I look perfectly OK.
