Background Music

Looking to broaden my horizons to areas where my work can be published. I'm a freelance musician/producer mainly specialising in dance although I have produced everything from ambient chillout to hard house.
My work has already been aired on everything from local radio to Sky TV, but as you can imagine, the competition out there is tremendous and I have had to explore other avenues.

At the risk of being taken for a ride, I'm willing to give anyone with a website or production company a personally produced track suited to their specs royalty free to use as you wish. This way you can sample what I can do with an original track for your production risk free.

The turnaround time for each track is normally between 2 and 5 days, depending on your requirements and will work closely with you to provide the sound that is required, all tracks can be formatted into either aif, wav or mp3, sent via the net or by CD to your address.

This is obviously on a first come, first serve basis, but I promise to answer each request and provide you with a track.

Andy

Hi, thanks very much for that, it sounds like something we can both gain from.
As I don't currently have a website to showcase my work, it'd be handy to have a reference page for any prospective clients untill I get my arse into gear and fork out for a basic site.

I've already had quite a few enquiries about the free tracks and I'm happy to provide with the expectation that I'll gain some work from it. I know that I'll be used for this and that most will just take my free sample, use it and not want anything else from me, but it's the risk I'll take to get my foot into the door and build my reputation within the industry.
When you say you'd like a banging dance track, what kind of thing did you have in mind and can you be more specific by giving me maybe an existing track title/artist that I can base some ideas on?

Give me a shout :)

Ok, knocked up a basic track in a few hours so you know what to expect.

Feel free to use it as you wish, would like to hear some feedback if possible and if you decide to use it for you production, gimme a little credit ;)

Paste this into your browser as I can't get the tags to work.

Just do what the Italians do in their movies ... they just stick a George Michael CD onto the soundtrack and nobody ever complains. It seems to be almost accepted that porn movies are going to rip-off commercial discs. All EU states have laws against it, but only Northern Europe and Scandinavia take any notice of them. Italy just piles laws onto the statute books to keep to EU happy - then carries on as if they never existed.
