Hi everyone,

I know this post is not particuarly suitable for this forum but is anyone having problems with their hotmail?

Mine wont work and i have spent the last 3 hours trying everything possible. This is quite an urgent matter for me as i need to get to me emails.

I just need to know if hotmail itself is down or it is only me who is having problems.

If you're running windows XP, you can get your hotmail via outlook express.

Tools > accounts > Add > Mail

enter your name and your email

incomming server is "HTTP", http mail service provider is "hotmail".

Enter your email again and password. Then you're done.

PS. I can check my hotmail fine but they use so so many servers, yours might be screwed. I dunno.

Hotmail have stopped the SMTP and POP service now, you have to pay for it, unless u activated it before feb 05 something dont remember the exct date.

All works here POP and HTTP but i wouldnt rely on MS email anyway i have my mail send into a 2.6gb gmail account and my server so alway got access
