The VA website is now back in action and open for business. Any bugs or issues with the shopping cart have now been resolved (I'm assured) and basically 'job's a good 'un'.
Oh, and by the way, here are four new DVD's to keep you entertained -

Hi Officer Dibble
Sites looking good.
Whats happening about the old orders from 2003 before the website went down and you guys had a bit of trouble. I made a few orders back then but never got my order, The only problem is none of the titles I ordered back then are avialable yet, but I have seen some that are good on your website. Is it possible to pick alternative titles in place of the ones I orignally ordered? I have mailed the website so waiting for an answer, but I thought it might be worth asking you also just so that we know Video Angels haven't forgotten the old orders that were made by a few people.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Hitman

Yes, if anyone still has any items outstanding dating from 2003, when VA was unceremoniously closed down, then the new VideoAngls will honour those orders. We still have the records from that period, so anyone who didn't receive their order back then (mainly DVD customers) should write in with details of what they ordered and if those detail corresponded with our records, then credits will be issued so that they can choose alternative items from the VA site. Some customers are already doing this.

You might be a chance of a listing in the Guinness book of records Dibble
3 years to fill an order would take some beating regardless of obstacles

You're taking things out of context and twisting them, Deuce. VideoAngels was shut down (by third parties) in 03. From that point there were no videos, no DVD's, no stock, no business and no trade - in short VA was defunct. However, the essential elements of 'Angels' remained, i.e., the back catalogue of masters and client list. These have been salvaged by enthusiasts and because there continues to be a steady stream of requests and enquiries about old movies and 90's models, the current owners of the rights have embarked on a rolling program of re-mastering and authoring the Angels classics to DVD. This is a new business ? though, for us, more like a labour of love than a sound business proposition - hence the extended periods between releases. But it is something we gain enjoyment and satisfaction from, and also, it helps those poor souls out there that get a bee in their bonnet about a certain model and inundate us with requests, nay demands, to purchase any material in which she might feature. So, I reckon the job?s well sorted and in the words of Neil Kinnock, ?things can only get better?.
