If you own the content or have rights to use it, you will need to keep copies of the performers model releases & ID's. This will cover you in case there is ever problem about the content. i.e. 'that girl's not 18!', ' I didn't give my permission for the pictures/video to be used', 'I thought it was for private use only!' etc etc
When I do content swaps with other girls, I always make sure they get a copy of the pictures, video, ID's & releases on the same day. It avoids the problem of people forgetting.
If you need a 'modified' model release as a word doc then email me and I'll send you one.

That wasn't really the question Tequila asked. I think she wanted to know whether the Video Recordings Act applied to on-line or downloaded video content.

My understanding would have been that it certainly does - it refers specifically to material which is recorded electronically and doesn't restrict itself to physical DVDs or tapes. And so I've often wondered how UK-based sites get away with marketing such non-certificated material.. obviously many such sites are hosted on foreign servers which might make a difference, but not all are..

If the site is hosted and maintained abroad (provided it's legal in that country) then there is definitely no problem.

I'm not sure on the issue of if it's hosted abroad but maintained from the UK as to whether it's legal or not. I'd doubt it but no doubt somebody else on here can give an answer to that.

Afet having dealings with Obscene Publication Dept then I doubt very much that they'd be interested but it'd be best to find out for sure.
