Warning re susposed producer

I have recieved an email and thought I should post the info here.

There is a guy who goes by the name of Chris (not sure of surname) who is contacting models claiming to be a adult film producer, he says he is from Redditch and also claims to own property in Rugby and Birmingham.

A model met him in a resturant and "Chris" bought her a drink which he was very pushy for her to drink (which she did not).

He asked her to go to his car (a dark blue Passat) to see some examples of his work.

He was complimentary to the model regarding her looks and attempted to touch her, she did not respond and he got aggitated and pricked her arm with a needle, she felt sick and disorientated and got out of the car and went back into the resturant.

"Chris" then drove off.

I am not sure if I am breaking rules re posting this but thought that the producers and models should be aware of this.

She went to the hospital to have tests and assume (hopefully) the police would have been involved.

your post is just what we ask for in these circumstances (faq 3.9).

if you HAD given his surname, or other details which could have identified him as an individual, then we would have edited your post or removed it entirely, depending on the overall content.

It seems that these sico's are Faye, they must have the weird idea that models are willing to go with anyone just because of the work they do. I hope this girl is ok too and that the police have got the case and catch him.

It does have other ramifications as well but much less important.
As an amateur photographer myself building a trustworth reputation these weirdos can make it difficult for photographers like me when we first contact a model for a shoot.

But, as I said, that's nowhere near as important as the girls safety which is paramount.

This guy has gone and fucked it for himself is the way I see it. If you have a good rep the girls will call you. It only takes one girl to have a bad encounter to put everyone off working with you. Obviously this guy wasnt interested in doing anything serious like producing or taking pictures anyway but this is the kind of risk run now when any Tom, Dick and Harry can become a producer after one shoot and the agencies indiscriminately send girls to people like this....Further staining our reputation amongst our detractors who tut "Typical"
