Am a great fan of UK porn ...i'm based in South Africa and sadly our porn industry (to my knowledge ) is non existent...thankfully we get tons of UK porn to blast the contents of our aching balls all over the screen to and I think it's much better than most of the American stuff.

Am curious to know if anybody - company or individual(s) in the UK porn industry have actually become millionaires as a result of their work or does the top talent have to go to the States if they want to earn huge earnings.

I have read that UK porn stars like Nicki Sterling have become millionaires in the USA ....is this true? I'm sure Angel Long must be well on her way to achieving that ....she's the hottest babe i've ever seen

How much do the top girls in UK earn on average per year and is this mostly from the films they do or their respective websites they run? ....and finally who earns more ..the performers or the producers?

I don't think the girls earn huge amounts ... a hard working popular girl can probably earn $150,000 - $200,000 a year in the US, but that would mean a pretty full schedule. Seeing they would spend probably 50% of it at least ... and most of them much more, I don't think many come away with a fortune. The more popular US girls can earn more on dancing tours than they do from porn appearances. They may make more if they move into production, but as a performer it's just big money over a short term ... the average life of a porn starlet is about 18 months.

Probably the person who has made the most money from 'porn' is David Sullivan, along with his friend David Gold.



David Sullivan is now one of the richest men in the UK, and has been involved in the UK sex industry since the late 1960s or early 1970s.

He launched many UK sex magazines in the 1970s and certainly pushed the boundries of what could be shown. I remember seeing 'open leg' shots in his magazines, which was very unusual at the time.

I believe he did serve a prison sentence for living off immoral earnings.

He also launched the career of Mary Millington, featuring her in his magazines and films (Come play with me etc). These films were rather tame but he used his magazines to make out they were almost pornographic. "Come Play with me" is one of the top grossing UK films of all time.



He is also a bit of a con artist, always offering more explicit material in his magazines and his TV channels than he actually delivers.

He and David Gold own Birmingham City football (soccer) club and are now half-respectable.
