I don't know why i bother,
last 2 weeks i been messed about on 3 shoots(model not turning up on 1 shoot, one shoot cancelling me 2 hours before i was due to go on set,(well i was on M6 when i got the call for that but i was on way to location of shoot),and finally Nobody turned up at all except me as the model(No crew or other models,Just me and studio photographer) on another shoot
I'm not very happy(Especailly the trips i made on the road, must be at least 250 miles, and not gained anything but lost money on petrol travelling and of course my rates on top of that.
Oh well going to phone a few old contacts again to see if there have anything in pipeline in work.(least i can look forward to this saturday as i have another job,but at least i know the company i working for is legite, and its up the road from me in Sutton Coldfield)

Carl,
Completely understand your comments.
It does seem people (both models and crews) no longer contact people if they are running late or can't make a shoot until it's about to happen.
When I complained to the person who organised the Dogging shoot, I was told to **** off and I should be grateful.
Sorry to hear you've also had problems - it's this behaviour which gives UK Porn a bad and unprofessional image.

Hi Carl
Chin up mate and carry on just chalk it down to experience. If all the shoots went to plan they would be just plain boring but you would have thought the company could have rung you.
As you know we spent a fortune last year shooting stuff for the British market and got messed around something wicked as we deviated from our normal models and went for some of the well known stars. But now we have resigned our european contracts we will have some great shoots coming up and you will be at the top of the list with Nick and the girls who don't want UK publishing

It is a pain in the butt, when things like this happens,(1st one, well even the producer lost out on that day as well as he had no one to shoot,2nd one i wasn't to happy,i would off forgiven him if it was cancelled the day before, and the 3rd one well i just speechless.)
Bill(you more than welcome to contact me whenever you got any upcoming projects in March/April).
I got you contact details so if i don't hear from you first,i will be contacting you in a couple of weeks.

I will be shooting my first XXX work in 10 days time. I sure hope my model turns up on the day. If she does not, then i'll be in the same boat as you, lost of time, petrol and studio costs and back to square one, looking for that one model that fits my picture.

I dont think its very professional at all...I think its a piss take when you turn up and some one else cant be bothered.
Ive had the same as carl...we should not accept it. Its cost money when a shoot doesnt happen. Not just the priducers but other models if they dont get used. Ive lost money over it before...maybe i should look for compensation on the next one!?
If people get a prob...call ahead...let it be known your on ya way OR NOT! Let people know if a shoot is dead due to a prob. We can all sort something out if ya know...get another model, get anothe job, dont spend time travelling. Just a call..text helps loads....you can carck on with something else, or someone else!
" Its all part of the game" Well it shouldnt be.

Hi Carl
I know the felling about being messed about, you got messed about with a model. I got messed about with a model 3 times for not showing, i wouldn't mind but it was the same model. I must of been a right mug, as normally i only give a model 1 chance. Just that this model had quiet a few shoots lined up with me. Stay in there Carl and just put it down to experiance.
Regards
Gary
