I stand corrected, wasn't till I saw your post that I realised it was an insult to genuine wnkers like ourselves and other honourable members of this site.

I often wondered how that whole webcam thing actually paid the girls for doing it especially when you look at the rates they charge for other work (and no Im not having a grumble at the rates girls charge!)

Typical charge is $3 a min for the time you are actually on camera performing - lets be generous and assume a girl is on cam performing 50% of the time so they are generating $90 an hour. From memory the money is then split three ways with a third each going to the girl, the "house" owner and the host network / website. That leaves $30 an hour for the girl which is about ?15 an hour currently (maybe a little more) meaning that for an eight hour shift they are earning ?120. Most girls will get this for 2 - 3 hours work with a photographer so what is the appeal of this type of work??

I don't want to knock anything unless I have the full facts, but the way I see it, a lot of the girls dont really get naked and just roll around in their skimpies, then maybe she'll do a private show where she'll stick a vibrator in her fanny for 2- 3 minutes. She's earning double than she would if she was working at a till in Sainsburys so it cant be too bad. However, I am open to be educated...

True but my point is that if they are going to do "adult" work then there are much more lucrative ways of earning more money with a whole lot less hassle (ie no 14 year olds or stingy gits looking something for nothing or trying the old show me a bit for free and then I promise line) - the only good thing a friend of mine who does work in one of these houses once in a while said is that accomodation and food is provided and she works 12 hours a day and really odd hours to hit the US market so, while its not great money, she can save pretty much every penny she earns in the 3 or 4 weeks she does it.

I think the ones who find it worth doing are girls who do it from home, and therefore cut out the travelling to and from aspect of modelling which is sometimes longer then the actual work. And as some would only be sitting around in their flats doing f*** all else anyway it is a good suplement to their giro!

(Not suggesting this is the case for all. Just all the ones I've come across). lol
