I've had a weird run-in with someone behind a site called
www.cam-cuties.co.uk
They basically hacked my MSN account in a very sneaky manner and stole all my contacts, many of which are for my business. Due to me being a double sneaky bastard I did manage to get my account back, but this person was intending to keep it, and now has a copy of my contact list. I would dearly love to know more about them, so if any of you ladies have been contacted, or any producers / webmasters know of them, please drop me an email...
And if you use MSN or Hotmail, check your "secret question" and make sure you don't accidentally give out the answer in conversation like I did!

Yeah I already did a whois on it - not much to go on as you say. I *will* get to the bottom of it though.
Hackers - scum, subhuman scum.

Well, my secret question was "Favourite pets name" and my cat has a really obscure name so I figured it would be safe. Actually it was until someone got that info out of me and used it against me. Lesson learned.
All my contacts know my business so I'm not arsed about that, but I don't want anybody going on MSN pretending to be me as this person has been doing. Does this count as "identity theft" and could someone be taken to court for it?

The plods do have a special unit for internet related crime, and I would imagine among other things the Data Protection Act has been broken, and if he uses your false identity for financial gain it would be fraud.

Is it not worth emailing the people who host this site ? Surely they wouldn't be happy if these people are doing this and could close the site down.
I am sure you have already thought of this but i thought it was worth a mention
