I am not clear as to what you are asking.
I found a review of this movie in the "La saison cinematographique - 1978", (published I believe previously on a monthly basis by "La Revue di Cinema").
The movie was screened in Paris in July 1978 under that title, and was hard-core from what is described in the review.
No cast is given other than a "Jim Queen" whoever that may be.
From a rough translation of the review it can be summarized as follows: Mercier is a young fellow who goes to meet a handsome black male at the St-Charles Marseille station. The black had been hired by Mercier's father. The two males go to a movie theater where they watch a gay movie. They have sex in a creek (or cove). But some bikers surprise them and abuse the two. It seems that the black is involved with the biker gang. Another scene follows in which the black has sex with one of the bikers.
So from the review it appears that this is entirely a gay movie, and I have no idea what Gilda Arancio or Claude Janna are doing in this movie. The movie is only about a hour long, and from the review it seems that the scenes doesn't seem to be have been shot with any professional means (scenes change lighting and appearance, some shots are mediocre, ecc).

I notice that EGAFD lists two alternate title for this movie:
?L'Autre face du p?ch? 1981
?Les Ravageuses 1980
I know that reviews of both films were compiled in the "La Saison Cinematographique-1981", which I do not have in my posession so I cannot comment on what what sais about them, and why would JE SUIS AVIDE DF'HOMMES should circulate (years after) under two different other titles.

It is equally strange that a hc movie should be shown in France in 1980 with the title L'AUTRE FACE DU PECHE, as that was the French-language version of L'ALTRA FACCIA DEL PECCATO (1969,Italy) a documentary (of the Mondo-Cane type) directed by Marcello Avallone, which was narrated by Edmund Purdom (released in France apparently in 1972).

As for LES RAVAGEUSES, the feminine appelation seems to suggest it deals with female ravagers. Moreover that title was also given for the French-language version of SLAVES OF LOVE (1969) directed by Charles Nizet and starring Sally Blair and Tina Brown

If someone can clear up this mystery...

More craziness.
EGAFD info about this movie seems to be the same as is found in IMDB

except IMDB gives no director name, while EGAFD indicates it was a certain " Lois Koenigswerter". However this Koeniswerter directed the JE SUIS AVIDE D'HOMMES, a totally gay title released in France in 1977.
Moreover IMDB claims that LES RAVAGEUSES was released in Paris in October 1977. But "La Revue du Cinema" has NO review of a movie (for movies released in France in 1977) by the title of LES RAVAGEUSES or "L'autre face du p?ch?").
I have not been able to find any info in the web on LES RAVAGEUSES with Golda Arancio beyond what is shown in EGAFD or IMDB.

Carlito, I do not know what you mean by "body love". Perhaps you are saying Gilda Arancio masturbates in the movie. What else? And what else can you say about the movie?

Dictionnaire des films fran?ais pornographiques et ?rotiques 16 et 35 mm has two films called Je suis avide d'hommes. The gay one is 1978, dir. Benoit Achenoul, the (partly) hetero one is 1977, dir. Job Blough (that is Anne-Marie Tensi who produced both). I think (I'm not certain) that I've also seen Lois Koenigswerter or a similar name as an alias for Tensi, maybe on Encyclocin?. The Dictionary has Lois Konigswerther credited for the montage and Eric de Winter as director of production, all names associated with Tensi's films.

The (partly) hetero one has Gilda Arancio and Carmelo Petix in inserted footage (if I interpret 'les s?quences de montage' correctly). Mich?le Grubert, Claude Janna, Claude Loir and Patrice Cuny are the cast of the film itself. The review does say that Gilda Arancio is seen in a hard scene.

As to your doubt about films being re-released under other titles, that seems to have happened more often than not to French porn films as did the use of the same title for two or more different films. It's a problem that porn fans have had to be wary of ever since porn films and videos existed. Selling the same title twice or more to an individual fan has always been a temptation for porn producers and they have never resisted it. The dictionary gives Les Ravageuses as an alterntive title, released 1980 and L'Autre Face du P?ch? (1981). It does not say that these were video releases. Some of Tensi's films did make it to video - I've seen some of them. I don't know whether this one did.

I can't remember where our info came from, probably a combination of sources, but it was added before the dictionary was published. It seems to have been mostly correct as far as it went, but I have now updated it.

It is not clear what you have updated Alec.
The gay title by Lois has now disappeared, being replaced by Job Blough herero title?
If that is so, was it really released in 1977 (as I do not believe Gilda Arancio was in that one, or was it the case?) or 1980?
Does the Dictionaire indicate when the Achenout or Job Blough films were released? What were the storylines for each?
