In La Lunga notte, all dialogues are dubbed in Italian but Ludmilla Antonova speaks in Russian with what seems to be her natural voice. However, this may be a purposeful deception given the fair command of Russian many Hungarian people who had schooling especially prior to 1989 possess. Is there any 'hard evidence' about her nationality?

I have checked her very first scene in "Dott. Max e le Donne Russe" where filming crew arrived to Russia to make some casting. Dr. Max introduced her as another russian girl (ragazza russa) and asked LA about her name and where she is from. LA replieded in English "Katerina from Moscow".
From VEF: "I still think about Dott Max as the best performance of Antonova in sense of pornography. It was her first movie, where stupid and flourishing Russian girl with big aspirations was truly enthusiastic and really high..." (user "screwball788")
I think the knowledge of basic English helped for LA, Elisa Mell aka Alisa, Victoria Queen aka Vika and Aniko aka Katiusha to enter to Europorn industry after that casting movie, while other 2 girls (below) who speak only Russian were left at homeland:

Natasha turned in a really good scene, though, with that slightly
aloof 'Snegurochka' face and her coltish figure [think Aliona].
Shame.

Antonova is a Russian girl from Moscow.
Hard evidences:
1. She speaks not only Russian but with characteristical Moscow accent. In Perversioni di Erika too.
2. No Hungarian could speak Russian so.
3. On the cover of Dott. Max there are the passports of participating girls demonstrated. The one of Antonova is Russian.
I'm pretty sure, that Katerina (or Ekaterina) is her real name. In all the following movies she tried to disguise herself as much as possible. But in her very first one she was very eager to get the contract and stupid enough to be open as provincial Russian babe.
