vidshop (still waiting) - update

I ordered a couple of vids from vidshop a few weeks back - didnt hear anything for over a week - emailled them a few times and eventually got a standard reply "7 days before any replies"

about a week later I got a personal reply from them asking for my name and what my order was - I replied to that and have still heard nothing

I know there is a guy from vidshop that reads these postings

CAN YOU TELL US WHAT'S GOING ON ??????

What about all your promises on your web site ?? - they don't mean anything !!!

Why don't you put up a warning saying that you have problems ??

people on this forum have heard enough to be able to make their own minds up about vidshop.

HAVE U HAD YOUR LAST 4 DVD ORDERS NOT TURN UP FOR 5 WEEKS EVEN THOUGH YOUR CASH HAS BEEN TAKEN!!
I AM NOT IMPRESSED AND I HAVE EVERY RIGHT NOT TO BE!!

They are not answering their emails - FACT

Their answer machine is still "full" and not taking any new messages - FACT

I posted a reply to you on here the other day, where your e-mail bounced did you go back and read it because you didn't reply?. Reply to me with your correct details this e-mail works, just click the name,if I don't get a reply I will start to doubt this is a legitimate complaint.

Dave, is vidshop still taking orders? Would it be a good idea to stop taking orders(so you can catch up)? An ad in a magazine (bizarre) says you have a guaranteed uk dispatch & delivery, with over 500 DVD titles in stock. What if anything does guaranteed mean?

Fair point Joe,
The add in Bizarre is more than correct, we have today ( Saturday) 1731 titles in stock, but we have 2106 ( one of which is your outstanding title) , the remainder is on route to our Dutch warehouse now,I don't want to keep going on about this,as it has been covered last month, but the previous system lost the plot as to what was in stock and what wasn't, the new one knows where we are at and all product missing has been ordered so we should be back at normal levels in around 10 days so long as we have no customs delays.
Guaranteed UK despatch and delivery is exactly that, we send from the uk, and you will get your order, even if we have let people down, we will send it. I think you and others can testify to that, Rich said what was needed on that point we are not taking peoples money and not sending goods, if we charged we sent it,.As everybody is aware, we had not been coping with e-mail,so people who had not had their order were not getting replies and of course the reaction then is justified,but we have added 3 new staff members to cope, but they have only been involved for 3 weeks, so they are still getting to grips with things however things have improved considerably. I am concerned one or two people are posting here that we are not replying as we are now replying to every mail we get, I have asked Rich to look at the new mail server to see if there is a problem, the only thing we can think is they are sending to multiple addresses,if that is the case it will never reach us as it is taken as Spam, Rich said when he posted here to put bgafd in the subject header, and the address to send to.With regards delivery the site says "should be received within 14 working days" orders are not guaranteed in that time,they are just guaranteed to arrive, I think Andrew Jones will testify we stick to that, and it took 3 attempts to get him his video becuase his postman was stealing them.However Rich is currently working on a new programme which will give the expected delivery time for each item rather like Amazon, this will allow us to increase the options available to purchase but will keep the customer better informed as to likely time to wait. Again the comments I have seen here have been listened to and we will make improvements to the site, but this still takes time to do. Our 1st objective has to be to get customer service operating efficiently.It is all about better comunication with the customer.
