Badefest was one of the best loops I saw in the 1970's. It was certainly brought out in a vhs version and I last saw it cica 1990 in Vienna. Hopefully a company will bring it out on dvd. I am not sure if I have seen Barbetribe or not. Perhaps you could give a brief description of the film.

I am pretty sure he has not seen it, he wants it because who's in it.
I haven't seen it either, but the name's a clue. Bar is a bar/pub/night-club and Betrieb is a rather polymorphic word meaning stuff-that-goes-on.

Yes, but "Business" has a narrower meaning. "Betrieb" contains "trieb" (related to English "drive") and that can mean "sexual drive". But I better stop as this is turning in alt.usage.german now...

Thank you for your reply beutelwolf to my enquiry re Barbetribe. I am not quite sure what you mean that I only want it because of who is in it. The reason for the enquiry was that at the very end of Badefest a woman comes into the swimming pool (possibly xnk0628)and calls everyone into another room. Clearly the film continues, and I did wonder if the continuation was Barbetribe. From what you say I think it possibly was.
Incidentally, several years ago you and Herschi were kind enough to assist me in identifying a film which I described in detail but did not know the name of. I now realise it was Badefest. It was suggested at the time that it might have been a loop taken from the hardcore version of 'Ein guter Hahn wird selten fett'. I accepted this and assumed that I had confused Sigrun Theil with Gina Janssen. However you may agree with me that we were thinking of two entirely different films. It is always very difficult remembering precise details of films from 30 years ago and your expert knowledge is always appreciated.

Thank you, beutelwolf, for clarifying that. It would be better if this forum was the same format as the o/t one where a thread can be followed from a specific entry.
