A few years ago one of the German satellite stations on Eutelsat screened a series of softcore sex comedies, all starring the same people (at least some of the men were the same).

It was all sort of Bavarian, alpine, lederhosen stuff, though I couldn't say what country it was or who made them.

Does anyone recall them or have an idea what they were called, or who made them?

There are dozens of that kind of movies, but i assume you mean the 'Franz Marischka' movies, he is the lederhosen master . There is a site that released all these movies on DVD a few years ago and they have many screenshots on their site for each of these. Here are some links:

Just look around there, most likely you will find the one you were looking for.

Just to add to that other list, there is also the
Liebesgruesse aus der Lederhose
series. Generally, Lederhosen-sex is not a series of films, it is an entire movie genre.

Thanks. I checked out the Liebesgruesse aus der Lederhose films once before, and I don't think they were what was shown, though I could easily be wrong. Nothing rang a bell when I looked at the cast list, though.
