I have no knowledge of Melitta Berger appearing in any other h/c film except 'Aus dem Tagebuch der Josefine Mutzenbacher', where she played Josefine's friend, Uschi. She was one of the most attractive actresses ever to do hardcore. Does anyone know any additional information about her?

You're not alone, DavidS - she's a very handsome woman with a an irresistible twinkle in her eye (nice voice, too. If that's her voice). She's in urgent need of some belated research.

I first saw "Aus dem Tagebuch" in the early 80's and managed to find a copy of the complete X version a couple of years ago (the UVG video version has some scenes missing, including the whole ending at the wedding, where Berger shines!). Recently I got to see the soft version (aka Die Hei?en N?chte der J.M.), which had some new footage of Ms Berger, in some of them she's dressed and decent, but still irresistible. The delightful shots of her sitting at the wedding table (see egafd entry portrait) are for some reason absent in the hard version. (there are some other more or less different scenes with her as well: both versions are essential to any Berger fan).

Finally, I've noticed that she is nowadays indeed identified as Melitta Berger, which wasn't the case before. Exactly how was this ID confirmed? (beutelwolf?)

Apart from that, I'm as curious as you, DavidS.

Hello mulholand. I honestly think Melitta Berger is the most attractive woman ever to make a porn movie. She is a total mystery though. She seemed to be totally at ease in the film, yet she does not appear to have done any other h/c. Her index picture does not really do her justice. I am not sure how she was identified but I have always assumed she is Melitta Berger. The other two Andrea Werdien and the girl who plays Maria are identified and Melitta was the other main female character in the film. It probably is an alias though. The film itself is, in my opinion, the finest porn film ever made.

No, not me.

I cannot allow beutelwolf to take the blame for something I may be responsible for. I suggested in a posting ages ago that the blonde who played Uschi was Melitta Berger. This was by deduction. Andrea Werdien is Josefine. Monika Zierer is Maria. Margitte Hofer is an established porn actress. The other main female part is Uschi. From her place in the credits it is probably Melitta Berger. However it is possible that it is the very slim brunette who stars in the sex show at the start of the film and is buggered at the wedding reception. There is also the remote possibility that it could be the maid, Annie. As far as I am aware only Margitta Hofer and Andrea Werdien have made other porn films. As the acting was of such a high standard, I can only conclude that Billian managed to get actresses from another field to appear in the film.

I think I spotted Zierer in a couple of other films:
Die Beichte der Josefine Mutzenbacher, and
Heisses Pflaster Ibiza, but I'm not 100%.
