This might be completely off the mark but I have just watched Internats geheimnisse Jungen Madchen and the girl who ministrates to the principal at the school ( Jacques Gatteau with a dummy in his mouth ) looks to me like a young Joy Karins. She is credited on this site as Ulrike Lary or poss Ulrike Maas.
I haven't seen a Karins movie recently but I think there is merit to the arguement. Lets argue!

I see the similarity (though I think Ulrike's nose is smaller), but we have had an e-mail from someone asking about Ulrike Lary (not by name) who said she was German, which doesn't fit with Joy Karin's.

I think the suggestion also fails on timeline.

The earliest Joy Karin's that I have in my notes is from 1987.

Ulrike Lary seems to have been active in the 1980-1984 time frame.

Also I think the chin is all wrong for Ulrike to be aka Joy.

Whilst appreciating the merit in what both John.h2 and Alec have said, I think that the time frame difference from this film and the start of her better known career adds fuel to my assertion. Joy always looked a little more mature than many of her contemporaries and people can physically alter over a period of about 5-6 years.
As I hope to acquire some formal Joy Karin movies in the near future, I intend to keep an open mind. Like all good things in this realm, an intensive period of study is called for and I would like to volunteer for the task. Feel free to join me all you connoisseurs of fine femme flesh out there

I do have VHS of both actresses (Ulrike's "Les belles ?trang?res", Joy's "L'infirmi?re aux gros seins" & "L'?ducation d'Anna"), and there is no doubt in my mind that they are two different women. Ulrike's complexion is lighter, her breasts are a bit smaller. Moreover, Joy has some "coquetterie dans l'?il", which means a slight squinting. Both girls are very pretty, and, judging from an interview with her by the late Michel Ricaud, Joy seems to be a really nice and smart person. I am quite sure I saw Ulrike in another movie in the early '80s, but I am unable to remember which one. I have no idea concerning her present whereabouts (she should be in her late forties), but, as I searched the Web for "Ulrike Maas", I saw that there is someone of that name currently working for the German movie industry as a "Make up" specialist. No details were available. Is there any connection ?

I think Ulrike Maas may have been how Ulrike Lary was credited in Internatsgeheimnisse junger M?dchen. I found the name Ulrike Lary from the Dorcel film Les Belles ?trang?res and fixed it to her when I found another film featuring the other girl in that film (Julie la douce), enabling me to work out that the redhead in Les Belles ?trang?res was Sabina Karen. Therefore the blonde must have been Ulrike Lary. Of course this does not guarantee that Ulrike Lary = Ulrike Maas, as porn credits are often illogical in their choice of aliases.

Your ID of the two German girls in "Les belles ?trang?res" is absolutely right. This movie is but the reenactment of a "roman-photo", published about 1978/80, which I had once. The script is just the same, as are the names of the girls, Ulrike and Sabine. That's why I may be positive about Ulrike Lary. But I know nothing for sure about Ulrike Maas.

On VHS I have one film with Ulrike and eight with Joy.

In Foxy Lady No.9 which is copyrighted 1988 (but probably made the previous year) she appears noticably younger than she appears in her later work, say Il Film which is copyrighted 1991.

So although I generally agree that she probably entered porn in her early to mid 20's she also has not aged as well as some others.
